Cayzu Inc. (“Cayzu,” “we,” “us”) provides Cayzu Help Desk, including cayzu.com, our web and mobile apps, and the customer support portals our clients run on our platform (together, the “Services”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Cayzu Inc. is a federally incorporated Canadian company located at 11886 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, Ontario, N8N 3C1. You can reach us about privacy at sales@cayzu.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, company name and password when you sign up or are added as a user.

  • Help desk content: tickets, messages, attachments and contact details that our clients and their customers add to the Services.

  • Payment information: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

  • Usage information: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through cookies and Google Analytics.

  • Google sign in information: described in the Google User Data section below.

How we use information

We use information to provide and run the Services, sign you in, provide support, send service emails, process billing, keep the Services secure, prevent fraud, improve our product, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Data we process for our clients

When a business uses Cayzu to support its own customers, that business controls the ticket data and customer contact details in its account. We process that data on its behalf and follow its instructions. If you contacted a business through a Cayzu support portal, please direct privacy requests to that business first.

Google User Data

Cayzu lets users, including our clients’ customers on their support portals, sign in with a Google account. When you do, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use this information only to create your account, sign you in, and show who you are inside the Services.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. We only share it with service providers who help us run the Services, or when the law requires it.

Cayzu’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

You can remove Cayzu’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions). To have your data deleted, email sales@cayzu.com.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Services:

  • Amazon Web Services: hosting and data storage in the United States

  • Stripe: payment processing

  • Postmark: delivery of service emails

  • Google Analytics: website usage statistics

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

Where your data is stored

Our Services are hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed outside your country, including outside Canada and the European Union. Information stored in the United States may be accessible to authorities there under US law. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

How we protect information

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We limit access to people who need it to run the Services. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you as the law requires.

How long we keep information

We keep information while your account is active. When a client cancels, we delete their account data 90 days after cancellation, unless the law requires us to keep some of it longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email sales@cayzu.com.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom: we process personal information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running and improving the Services, with your consent, or to meet legal obligations. You may complain to your local data protection authority.

Canada: we handle personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you have concerns.

Cookies

We use cookies needed for the Services to work, and analytics cookies through Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt out tool (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Children

The Services are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top when we do, and notify account owners of significant changes.
